1. Batch Type – Aluminum Aging cum Annealing Bogie Hearth Furnace
(Available in Electric & Gas-Fired Compositions)

Overview: Built with a track-mounted, motorized hearth (car bottom / trolley), this furnace allows heavy coils, spools, and wire baskets to be loaded mechanically outside the chamber before being driven inside.

Core Functions:

Annealing: Softens cold-worked aluminum wire, stress-relieving the grain structure to restore electrical conductivity and mechanical ductility.

Artificial Aging: Performs precise low-temperature precipitation hardening (typically for AAAC / 6000-series alloy conductors).

2. Continuous Aging cum Annealing with Solutionizing Type Furnace
(Available in Electric & Gas-Fired Compositions)
Designed for high-volume inline production, this continuous furnace processes wire rods, spools, or strands through defined temperature zones via roller hearths, mesh belts, or overhead chain conveyors.

Function: Performs Solution Heat Treatment (heating aluminum alloys to around 500 deg C to dissolve alloying elements into a solid solution) prior to controlled aging or annealing.
Variations:

(a) With Quenching System:

Integrates a rapid water-spray or drop-quench tank immediately at the outlet of the heating chamber.

Purpose: Rapidly freezes the supersaturated solid solution (SSSS), preventing premature precipitation—a required step before artificial aging to maximize wire tensile strength and conductivity.

Overview: A specialized thermal processing oven designed at 75- 120 Deg C primarily for post-processing XLPE/extruded insulated cables and pre-treating raw wire conductors.

Degassing: Thermally drives out residual volatile organic compounds (such as methane and peroxide byproducts) generated during cross-linking in heavy power and EHV cable insulation.

Post-Curing & Moisture Removal: Eliminates trapped gases and absorbed moisture from wire strands before jacketing or stranding, improving dielectric properties and insulation bonding.
